-We had a great Christmas at home in Washington! Loved the snow! And now we're loving the 70+ degree weather of SoCal! :)
-We had a bigger earthquake last week--4.5 magnitude. Now, apparently, that is not that big, but it was big enough for us. Yikes. We live near the airport, and everytime I hear a plane taking off, I worry that it's another earthquake rumble. It was kind of scary. But, everything's okay. We know what we're supposed to do now. A light panel (the kind that goes over a flourescent light) fell out of my classroom ceiling from the earthquake, I believe. I wasn't there when it happened, thank goodness!
-And now we're back in the swing of things. Michael has a test already, and I am giving my students finals this week. The end for now. :) Here are some pics.
Grandma Christensen (Michael's Mom's Mom) came to visit us for Christmas!
Playing Fox and Geese in the snow--cute, huh? :)
After Fox and Geese, Michael practiced his OMM moves (fixing people's backs) on everyone who was sore from falling so much--so, that was EVERYONE. :)
My family on Christmas morning
Visiting Grandma and Grandpa Crowther on Christmas morning.
When we were kids, they would come visit us every Christmas morning.
I think it was about our turn. :)
Just have to show you my fun Minnie Mouse apron from Michael!
Also, some great bread pans and vegetable steamer from Mom and Dad D. Thanks! :)
Our "Don't Mess with Texas" shirts, courtesy of Hermana D in Houston.
Skiing at Snoqualmie Pass with Chris and Lisa, Angie, J and the kids--what a blast!
Family basketball at the church
I met up with some of my high school girl friends (thank you, Applebees). These pics are from my phone so they are kind of iffy, but it was a blast to hang out with them! They are great!
My parents got a new dog. He is very energetic--he doesn't jump; he bounces! So we played with him for a while. In this picture I dont' think any of his feet are touching the ground! He's a funny dog.

Looks like a blast with that much family around for Christmas. You'll have to tell your dad we miss his organ playing.
looks like you guys had a good break!!! odd request... i'm dying to read amber's post about the baby, but i have to be invited to read her blog... could you ask her to invite me? janessagoodson@hotmail.com thanks so much anita!!
It sounds like your Christmas was great, with both sides of the family. I agree with Zach, I too miss hearing your dad play the organ. The best was when Cary would play the organ and Mary would play the piano. They make "beautiful music" together. Miss the Withers family!
Tag your it! Check out my blog for details! Trish
Sounds like a great Christmas! We definitely enjoyed being in Washington too. I'm so envious of your weather in California...all we get is snow!
