If you want the details, like how the professor kept making Michael re-do things on the breast exam, or how the guy flexed on the way out, or how Michael washed his hands like 20 times that day, call Michael.
Moving on. At the beginning of January, we went to Michael's high school friend John's wedding in Phoenix. Michael's parents and Ang flew here, and then we drove 6 hours to Phoenix and met up with Chris and Lisa. It was a short trip, but fun. We got to meet Michael's dad's cousin, Jeri, while ther. She was a hoot!
The Happy Couple at the Mesa Arizona Temple
Sidenote: The members were cleaning up the temple grounds from Christmas, including the lights off of the grapefruit trees. A bunch of grapefruits fell on the ground, so they were passing them out like candy. Kind of cool. Holy fruit. :) They were good!
Guess who showed up? The infamous Toblers (on the right)!
I have heard so much about this family from the Ds, and now I know why. Jan and Karl were so much fun! We wished we could have hung out with them all longer. Dad and Mom D, "Wamz" and Sister Wamsley, and the Toblers (in the picture) were like the Three Musketeers back in the day. Their families did everything together, so I hear.
Before flying back to Washington, Dad, Angie, and Mom got in some Wii time. Love the intensity of this picture. Pictures and videos of people playing the Wii are just funny. We probably have too many--it makes it look like that's all we do, when that is very VERY far from the truth, but man, it's just funny how into it we and others get. :) Thanks for playing with us! We loved having you guys down!
Last weekend, the Terra-Mosa Young Women swept the R.C. Stake Volleyball Tournament! Hooray! These girls are awesome.
Later in the day, we took some of the youth to the BYU vs. SDSU basketball game in San Diego. What a BLAST!!! Go Cougs! We started out with a 12-point or so spread; we just came out on fire. But soon, they had caught up and made a game of it. The youth were the absolute BEST people to go to a game with! They got so into it! It was SO SO SO much more fun than it would have been if just Michael and I had gone, and we're so glad we were able to take so many. It ended up being 20 people total. More wanted to go, but the game sold out.
And lastly, just some little things. For Christmas, my Dad and Mom gave me one of my favorite gifts. It is so simple, but it reminds me so much of home and always makes me smile. It is my bubble-light night light. :) My parents had bubble lights on our Christmas trees when I was little. Lately, they haven't been on the tree, but they have been used to decorate hearths and as nightlights at home. It's probably the cheapest little thing, but man, I love it! Thanks, Dad and Mom! :)
And kudos to Michael. He got me the sweet rain boots just in time for the downpour down here, a week ago or so. :)
