Back in the Jam

So, lately, we've been getting back in the swing of things with school/work. Here are just a few pictures of some of the latest adventures (or non-adventures, in most cases). :)

If you're ever in Rancho, you should go to Kick Back Jack's for breakfast. It's amazing. We had the stuffed french toast and the Santa Fe omlet with the side of flapjacks that was one of the options that came with it. Wowza. We ate way too much--we were full the entire day! And it was REALLY delectible! (Check out those mad vocab. skills.) :)

Michael participating in the Fantasy Football draft. Yes, you need not one, but TWO computers for this. :)

Celebrating after the BYU win over Oklahoma.

(Hopefully the Cougs can pick things up for the rest of the season now.)

I had a training for a week, and one of my "kids" (students) put this in his notebook that he turned in that Friday. Made my day. Maybe even my week. I love my job--and most days I don't even have to fake that. :)

Gotta love free hats, right?

We went to Disneyland for my b-day, since you get in for free. I thought the expressions in this one were really good. This is the first time I've been in the very front!

The big 2-4 . . . don't tell my students. They guessed "45." :)

(Their real guess was "28.")

The FABULOUS cake Michael made for me! Yummy!

Michael's battle wounds--chocolate on the shirt. :)

And here's the happy birthday song with a little help from "The Office." I thought this was hilarious. :)

Stay tuned for updates on exciting events such as the HUGE cardio test, Halloween, youth conference, and my classroom layout! (I can hear you saying, "Oh, yes! That is just what I've always been waiting for!") :)
